List of traffic restrictions as university students arrive in the city

Traffic restrictions will be enforced in parts of Nottingham as university students arrive for the start of the new academic year.

Students at Nottingham Trent University will be entering into their accommodation from Wednesday, September 23.

The changes on the roads are in place to facilitate the flow of traffic as 1,736 students arrive into five residences around Nottingham.

The restrictions will be enforced from Wednesday, September 23 until Sunday, September 27.

On Gill Street, there will be a one-way system implemented from Peel Street to Dryden Street and no stopping will be allowed at any time.

Meanwhile, there will also be a one-way system and no stopping in Hampton Street.

No stopping will be allowed in Peel Street, and a one-way system is being enforced on Dryden Street from Dundas Close to the junction of Peel Street and Fulforth Street.

These restrictions have been extended this year to allow for social distancing to take place.
