'List of rules' issued to Glasgow fans hoping to camp outside Barrowlands for Yungblud gig during Storm Barra

Music fans are keen to camp out in Glasgow at The Barrowlands ahead of Yungblud's gig despite weather warnings being issued for the city.

Concern was quickly directed at the set of fans looking to camp out overnight to secure a spot at the front of the iconic venue due to Storm Barra.

Fans are camping in the hope of securing a spot at the barrier for English musician Yungblud's show at the iconic venue this evening (December 7).

A set of 'rules' for anyone wishing to camp out before the gig went viral on Twitter, as some issued genuine safety concerns towards the campers while others poked fun at the dedication.

The intense rule list consisted of instructing campers they could leave the queue twice for two hours or once up to four hours, and were allowed to leave for up to three hours to get ready for the gig on Tuesday (Dec 7).

The tweet said the campers were instructed by the venue that overnight camping was not allowed for their own safety in the area, and due to the extreme weather.

Twitter users poked fun at both the dedication of the fans and the set of rules.

One user replied: "Possibly the most embarrassing thing anyone over the age of 20 has ever posted online and I’m saying that as a 27 year old bloke with a tiktok account"

Another said: "I am CACKLING Face with tears of joy What exactly are u gonna do if they leave more than once today?? Ban them?? Hilarious."

Someone wrote: "It’s like these people forget that Glasgow was once The Murder Capital of Europe."

Yungblud is playing two scheduled sold out shows at the iconic Barrowland venue tonight (Tuesday 7) and tomorrow (Wednesday 8).
