List of Ireland's worst-hit coronavirus hospitals including the one with most cases outside Dublin

The Mater Hospital has the most confirmed coronavirus cases as of Saturday.

101 patients were being treated for the virus inside the Dublin facility as of 8pm on Saturday.

Beaumont Hospital was next on the list of HSE data with 99 cases, Tallaght Hospital has 83, St James's with 81, St Vincent's with 65 and Connolly Hospital with 53.

Outside of Dublin, Limerick University Hospital has the most cases with 40 in the latest data.

Cavan Hospital, 36 and Letterkenny General Hospital, 35 are next on the list.

Up to Saturday night there are 837 people with coronavirus in the 29 acute hospitals in Ireland - up 0.6% from the previous day.

And as of Saturday there were 2,030 vacant general beds at hospitals across Ireland and 142 vacant critical care beds.

A total of 138 confirmed Covid-19 patients were on critical care beds on Saturday with 91 of those on ventilators.

A further 20 people were on critical care beds with suspected cases of the virus and another 11 suspected cases on ventilators.

It was announced on Sunday that a total of 39 more people have died from coronavirus in the Republic of Ireland.

And 493 more people here have tested positive for Covid-19.

It brings the total death toll in Ireland to 610, and the number of positive Covid-19 patients to 15,251.
