While the Metrocentre is partially closed during the national lockdown it has confirmed to customers that services such as pharmacies and banks are still available alongside essential shops and supermarkets.
Non-essential retail is of course shut at the Gateshead shopping centre but a range of facilities remain open, including some restaurants which are offering takeaways and a number of stores with a click & collect service in place.
Customers, however, are advised to still check with their chosen retailer directly before setting off on essential visits.
Metrocentre, which is under new management with Sovereign Centros and Savills having taken over from intu, has confirmed that the following shops and services are available during the national lockdown.
