Knowsley residents struggling to get their Covid-19 vaccination are being offered free transport to and from bookings.
As coronavirus cases continue to rise across the UK, the roll-out of the booster jab is more important than ever.
The NHS covid vaccination programme is asking thousands more people to book in their booster vaccinations in the coming days and have a ‘jabby new year’.

Up to 650,000 text messages and 50,000 letters are being sent to people who have not yet had their booster vaccine, encouraging them to book one now.
New figures show more people are now in hospital with coronavirus as levels in England reach their highest point since February.
Data from NHS England shows 11,452 people in hospital in England with Covid-19 as of 8am on Thursday, December 30, which is up 61% from a week earlier and the highest number since February 26.
During the second wave of coronavirus the number of Covid patients in hospital peaked in England on January 18, at 34,336.
To help people get their vaccinations, Knowsley Council is offering a free transport service.
On December 31 and January 2, people needing to attend an appointment or walk-in centre can access the free transport offer by calling the Knowsley Community Support and Volunteer helpline on 0800 073 0043.
The helpline will be closed on New Year's Day and re-opens on January 2, 10am to 1pm.

If you wish to access the taxi service on a bank holiday it must be booked in advance.
As of December 29, there were one million available appointments up to January 1st for people to book a vaccination.
