Scots holidaymakers have been able to book trips abroad once again after restrictions on international travel were slightly lifted.
The Scottish Government’s traffic light system was put into place from Monday.
A total of 12 countries were added to the green list of international travel rules - including the likes of Australia, Portugal and New Zealand.
Scots do not need to quarantine on their arrival back in Scotland from a green list but must take a Covid test before and after travel.

Anyone who tests positive for the virus must self-isolate for 10 days under the Government’s quarantine rules.
Information on the countries added to the amber and red lists has now been released by the Scottish Government.
Scots have been advised not to travel to these destinations unless it is for essential purposes - such as seeing a family member.

What does the amber list mean?
Scots must self-isolate for 10 days at their home or a place that they have chosen to stay upon their return to Scotland.
A Covid test must be taken before travel back to Scotland and a further two must be taken on the second and eighth days of quarantine.

Travellers will have to pay £170 for the two tests in quarantine - any other types of testing kits, such as free NHS kits of the ones sold by private businesses, cannot be used.

Scots should not travel to these countries or areas on holiday or for leisure purposes.
Anyone arriving in Scotland should take a test before takeoff and book a 10-day hotel quarantine package, which includes two tests.
