Lisburn Road reopened after collision

Police have reopened the Lisburn Road following a road traffic collision this morning.

The road at the junction with Belfast City Hospital was closed and drivers asked to seek alternative routes.

TrafficWatch NI said there are still long delays in the area.

Translink said: "Due to an accident at City Hospital the Lisburn Road is closed in both directions. Services will travel via Elmwood Avenue, Malone Road to the City Centre - in both directions.

"And services leaving Europa will travel via Sandy Row and Tates Avenue to Lisburn Road and same in reverse."
