Lisburn police probe after woman 'grabbed by man'

Police are investigating after a man 'grabbed' a woman in Lisburn on Monday night.

The woman was able to break free and run off after the incident in a walkway between Ballymacoss Drive and Edenvale Court.

It happened at around 8pm and the PSNI has released a description of a suspect.

A spokesman said: "Police are appealing for information in relation to an incident that took place at approximately 8pm on Monday October 7 2019 in a walkway between Ballymacoss Drive and Edenvale Court.

"A male aged approximately 20-30, slim build, black tracksuit with hood up and who spoke with a local accent approached an adult female and grabbed her before she managed to break free and run off.

"If you know anything about this incident or were in the area at this time and witnessed anything please contact Police on 101 quoting Police reference number 2008 of 07/10/19."
