Lisburn police appeal for man struck by car to come forward

Police in Lisburn are appealing for a man who was struck by a car to make himself known.

The incident happened between 6.05pm and 6.10pm at the roundabout between Longstone Street and Chapel Hill on Saturday.

The man, aged in his 50s or 60s, was hit by a silver Seat Toledo.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Police are appealing for a male, believed to have been involved in an RTC, to contact police.

"The male is described as; 6 foot, 50 to 60s in age, heavy build, wearing a dark coat and trousers, with dark hair and a walking stick.

"He believed to have been hit by a silver Seat Toledo at around 18.05/18.10 hours on Saturday January 25 2020, at the roundabout between Longstone Street and Chapel Hill.

"Anyone who has seen anything relating to this collision and the male involved, please contact police on 101, quoting serial no. 1398 of the January 25.
