Lisburn police appeal after discovery of tupperware full of class A drugs

A concerned member of the public discovered a tupperware container full of class A drugs in Lisburn yesterday.

Police have issued an appeal after the drugs were handed in to them by the "vigilant" person who found them while doing some work outdoors.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Are you missing a lunchbox? Did you swap out your ham sandwich and crisps for something a little 'heavier' and are wondering where it went?

"If you have lost this or know anyone who has lost this 'property' please make contact with Lisburn PSNI at your earliest convenience.

"An extremely vigilant member of the public has come across this tupperware concealing a large bag of white powder today whilst carrying out some outdoor work in Lisburn and brought this to police attention.

"Another batch of Class A taken out of harm's way. Fantastic work by a member of the public committed to taking illegal drugs off our streets.

"Please, if you come across anything like this or see anyone with anything like this in their possession whilst out and about, contact us ASAP."
