Lisa Maxwell has spoken out about the 'intensive physio' she has needed after being injured by prosthetic breasts.
The 55-year-old Loose Women star is currently starring in a touring theatre production of Calendar Girls, that has been penned by Take That leader, Gary Barlow.
The former The Bill star was asked to wear false breasts after producers thought hers were not big enough to fill the role.
The prosthetic boobs have taken their toll though, as Lisa has claimed she needed 'intensive physiotherapy' after the weight of them injured her back.
She is now undergoing £60-an-hour treatment to relieve the tension given by wearing the 'fillets'.
Speaking to the Sun on Sunday, Lisa revealed that the problem arose when her character is "incredibly well endowed, and I’m not".
Lisa said that she was worried about the producers finding out that she "doesn't really have all the tools for the role".
This was easily fixed and Lisa said she has "the biggest pair of chicken fillets you’ve ever seen!"
They don't come easy though, and Lisa revealed: "They weigh a ton and I’ve actually pulled muscles in my neck; I have to have physio every week because of my boobies being too heavy.”
Lisa reportedly possesses a modest B-cup while her character boasts a DD size.
As well as having prosthetic breasts, Lisa has said that she has grown in confidence after appearing naked in the show.
The story is based on the true tale about a Women's Institute that posed naked for a calendar, to raise funds in memory of one of the member's late husband.
Lisa said that she was "scared" of "getting naked" as she is "really self conscious about that sort of thing."
It has been an experience though and Lisa admitted that she "found it quite liberating," though didn't indicate whether she would pursue any more naked roles in the future.
