Lisa Marie Varon no longer running Squared Circle restaurant

Jan. 28--Lisa Marie Varon announced on Twitter Wednesday that she will no longer run the wrestling-themed Squared Circle restaurant she opened with husband Lee Varon in 2013.

Known as Victoria during her WWE days and Tara during her TNA run, the energetic and personable Varon had been a fixture at The Squared Circle up until recently. Varon hosted wrestling watch parties at the Lincoln Park pizza and gourmet burgers restaurant and joined fans on Squared Circle-organized bus trips to wrestling events such as "Raw" at the Allstate Arena.

"Hey gang! The @theSQDcircle will be ran by my husband and @DizzyMsLizz!" Varon tweeted. "Thank you for all your support. Much love."

Varon revealed in a series of tweets that she is apartment hunting in California. Asked by one of her followers what inspired the move, Varon responded "It was time." When reached by email, Varon didn't specify the reason for the move but did briefly address her role in the restaurant going forward.

"I still own it," Varon said.

Lee Varon said over the phone that the restaurant's name will stay the same, as will the wrestling theme. He added that Lisa Marie has been attending to her sick mother in California but he's hopeful the move isn't permanent.

"Nothing has changed, outside of incorporating more UFC events," said Lee Varon. "We'll still host wrestling events several times a week. While Lisa's in California, we'll be managing day to day operations. We hope she comes back soon."
