Friends star Lisa Kudrow has revealed her heartache as she opened up on her mother's funeral amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The 56-year-old actress described the loss of her mum Nedra Stern as "heartbreaking" during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
She also admitted she was grateful her mother could have a funeral, but revealed she hadn't "talked about" the death until now.
Discussing the gathering which was held as the coronavirus outbreak began back in late February, she explained it was her idea to rule out hugging at the service.
"I was the one who asked the rabbi to please let everyone know there was to be no hugging because we were all in an emergency room with her," Lisa said.

"That was the hardest decision because we weren't there yet and we had only just heard the words 'social distancing.'"
The actress, who played Phoebe Buffay in the American sitcom, was convinced there were cases of coronavirus at her mum's funeral.
"I'm a freak and all I could think that whole day was there has to be coronavirus here," she said.
"Some people [understood] and most people were just looking at me like I was a monster when I'd take two steps back, put up my hands and say, 'Hi, thanks for coming.' That was hard."

However there was light at the end of the tunnel for Lisa, as she said: "Well, at least we got a funeral," as many people have had to postpone funeral gatherings for their deceased loved ones due to the pandemic.
Lisa revealed she "couldn't bear" if someone got sick from hugging during the service, saying: "And everyone was hugging but me. I just couldn't bear it if I got someone sick."
The star also mentioned "a couple of family members did feel sick" just a few days after the funeral.
But she put it down to "feeling drained" following the tragic passing.
