Lisa Armstrong unveils stylish hair transformation ahead of return to work on Strictly

Make-up designer to the stars Lisa Armstrong is back working her magic on celebs behind the scenes on Strictly Come Dancing.

But in a rare moment, the ex-wife of Ant McPartlin showed off her own hair transformation and her fans were happy to hail her new look a stunning success.

She posted: "She bobbed it off!!!

The make-up guru was quickly congratulated for the new look by Strictly stars past and present.

Dancer James Jordan admired the makeover labelling it "Stunning!!!" while Coronation Street and Strictly star Kym Marsh posted a smiling heart emoji.

Pro Jowita Przystal added: "Beautiful'' and Robin Windsor said: "Gorgeous."

A fan posted: 'You Looks amazing. The style really suits you."

Lisa, a former member of the pop band Deuce, swapped the spotlight for work behind the scenes and is currently head of hair and makeup on Strictly — her 13th series no less!

She oversees five other make-up artists, a hair supervisor, five hairdressers and four assistants.

And when she's not getting celebs glam on she's found love again and is enjoying time with her beau James Green.

The selfie showed her fella in the background beaming back and a sneaky peak at suitably stocked red wine cabinet.

Lisa met divorced James before the first national lockdown in 2020, and despite Covid-19 restrictions, their relationship has continued to blossom.

The pair have enjoyed a holiday together and last week she was cheering James on as he took part in a half marathon.

Sharing a shot of her handsome other half she posted: " Massive Love and luck to my gorgeous boy @james_green83 on his first #halfmarothon So so proud of you and you’re strength and dedication…. Myself and Hurls will be waiting for you at the finish line…..We love you."

Lisa was previously married to presenter Ant from 2006 until they announced their plans to divorce in 2018.

Lisa was granted a decree nisi in October, with the marriage officially ended by April’s decree absolute.
