Lisa Armstrong has liked a tweet about relationship rules, including “staying faithful” and “respecting your partner”.

The make-up artist split from presenter Ant McPartlin at the beginning of 2018. The pair were granted a “quickie” divorce in a 30-second hearing in October.

Armstrong has shown her appreciation for a tweet from an account claiming to state the five rules of a relationship, including not committing adultery, which was the reason cited for their divorce.

The tweet reads: “5 rules of a relationship: 1. Stay faithful. 2. Make them feel wanted. 3. Respect your partner. 4. Don't flirt with others. 5. Make time.”

Their divorce was granted on the grounds of McPartlin’s adultery after he struck up a relationship with his former PA Anne-Marie Corbett.

Armstrong has previously used social media to take swipes at her ex-husband, often liking tweets with a strong message.

In January, the 42-year-old liked a series of tweets slating McPartlin for calling Corbett his “rock” during his turbulent year in an interview with The Sun.

McPartlin said of his new romance: "Anne-Marie honestly is the fundamental reason for the great change in my life.

"She’s been my rock. She’s a beautiful soul. We’re very happy.

"I’m in the best place I’ve been in my life, to be honest with you. She’s the greatest support to me. She’s always been behind me and supported me and looked after me. She always has been there for me."

But fans and supporters of Armstrong were left “uncomfortable” by McPartlin’s failure to credit his wife of 11 years.
