Ant McPartlin’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong has denied reports she is to receive £31 million in a divorce settlement reached this week.
ITV presenter McPartlin, 44, offered up more than half of his estimated £50 million fortune to settle the legal battle, according to the Sun.
The newspaper reported that he is “delighted” the case has come to an end after an agreement was reached in London on Tuesday.
But taking to Twitter, make-up artist Armstrong, 43, has since denied the reports and said: “Nope a load of nonsense AGAIN...."
A source had told the Sun: “Ant made a very generous settlement that works out to be more than half of everything that he has.”
“He is delighted because it means he can put what has been a very difficult chapter in his life behind him and move on.”
The Sun’s report also claimed that the pair have "agreed to share permanent custody" of their Labrador, Hurley.
The Standard has approached representatives of McPartlin and Armstrong for comment.
McPartlin and Armstrong formally ended their 11-year marriage in the Central Family Court in 2018.
They were granted a decree nisi in under 30 seconds.
