Liquid prints taking over Metaverse Fashion Week

What is a liquid print? It’s a fluid and vibrant vision of new monochromes. A digital contemporary take on iconic motifs and designs, in a vibrant palette of fresh and joyful shades which gives neon-bright construction, its 3D fluid tattoo effect. Since the metaverse fashion week got invented, brands are going liquid with their creations. Maybe MVFW didn’t have the expected impact on the consumer’s mindset. But it did end up opening up another spectrum of liquidated creativity for brands to explore.

ETRO dropped their free-wheeling alchemy of colours and prints by Liquid Paisley capsule collection during the metaverse fashion week. The liquid paisley collection includes ready to wear, accessories, acrylic nails, footwear and leather goods with eye-catching tattoo twists for this summer. Glossy coated fabrics, over matching printed apparel and a contrasting “crown me” shoulder bags created liquid uniforms for the travel lovers and gen-next shoppers. Dopamine boost in 3D paisley has struck the summer feel balancing undefined colours and shapes with vivid paintings of the brand’s heraldic symbol and its fluid imagination.

Another brand called HELIOT EMIL recently dropped their metal pants in the SS22 collection along with the Distressed dress. It’s a ready to wear label created by two brothers Julius Juul and Victor Juul from Copenhagen, Denmark. A brand is young and exploring the lines between form and function-driven by an experimental approach. Their subversive Scandinavian and monochromatic aesthetic, combined with custom-developed materials, fabrics and trimming are cutting edge bringing the 3D liquidated imagination to life.

The additional brand mogul DIOR collaboration with Veronica Yoko Plebani deserves all the recognition. This Paralympic athlete becomes a muse to embrace the liquid vibe from Dior in it's new campaign. Dior vibe by Maria Grazia Chirui shows liquid 3D print effects in their sportswear. Along with Margo Jain, a climber artist in their activewear capsule collection. It's a black and white star print in 3D effect with comfort base silhouettes.

Even Off-White ℅ Virgil Abloh's collection “the diva” shows polka dots liquid effects. A reference to a picture of Sophia Loren, the look interprets the Off-White idea of a typical diva: a bling-bling dress embroidered all-over with sequinned dots that creates an optical illusion, a huge fedora cap, meteor sunglasses, and contrast black and white gloves. The kitten-heeled embroideries, while the bag materialises in the collection of a crystal cigarette case for a runway show titled spaceship earth, an “imaginary experience” - “high fashion” collection brings the liquid effects in real-life version. The empowering vision of the future in 3D effects and digital visualisation of artwork has given birth to the Liquid avatar of prints and textured fabric and it's getting hyped all over the fashion fertility. Seeing through the fluid lens of freedom and fantasy, liquid prints are just vivid rotations of style, joy and silicon valley energy. From bloggers to pop stars and athletes to various artists are the trailblazers of this trend. It's contemporary, chic and spontaneous with the perfect summer punch in need.
