Lip reader confirms what Charles said to Meghan Markle and Harry before swift party exit

Unearthed footage of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry swiftly leaving a garden party just days after their wedding got tongues waggling when a royal commentator claimed they had been asked to leave.

The new Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined Prince Charles and Camilla for a Buckingham Palace garden party to mark the Prince of Wales's 70th birthday.

The family looked happy and relaxed as they waved and chatted to well-wishers, but Lady Colin Campbell claimed it was a very different story behind the scenes.

Extracts from the book leaked online claimed Meghan told Harry she was "bored" and wanted to leave, with other people claiming the pair had been "escorted out" of the celebrations.

But now a professional lip reader has revealed what Charles actually said to his youngest son moments before they left, and has stressed that there "definitely wasn't any angst".

In the clip, Meghan and Harry can be seen chatting to guests and the Duchess can be heard admiring one woman's necklace.

They are then approached by a member of staff, who appears to tell Harry that Charles wants to chat to him.

Harry then steps aside and his dad says something quietly to him, placing his hand on his arm.

Harry nods and gestures ahead of him before patting his dad on the back and returning to Meghan.

Camilla then walks over and kisses both Harry and Meghan goodbye before returning to the waiting crowds.

The Sussexes say their goodbyes to the group they were chatting to, telling them to enjoy the rest of the afternoon, and walk back towards the palace with their staff.

Debunking the clip, the lip reader told Mail Online that the staff member told Harry that he had been "called for".

Charles then said to Harry: "We are going now, We have to leave."

Harry then replies: "You go ahead" and returns to Meghan.

Charles ends by saying: "We will go now, see you later" to which Harry replied "Yes, catch up after."

Camilla then nips over to say her goodbyes, adding: "Just coming to say goodbye, we will see you later."
