Lions will host Arizona State WR N’Keal Harry for a private visit

According to a report from Omar Ruiz of the NFL Network, the Lions have a scheduled workout with one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2019 NFL Draft, Arizona State’s N’Keal Harry.

Lions GM Bob Quinn recently attended the Sun Devil’s pro day while at the nearby NFL owners meetings and apparently saw enough to want more time with Harry. The big outside WR caught 213 passes for nearly 3,000 yards and scored 22 TDs in his three seasons at Arizona State.

Harry measured both shorter and heavier than expected at the scouting combine, coming in at just 6-2 and a 228 weight that was 15 pounds more than his listed 6-4/213. He uses his frame well to create targets but is not a dynamic athlete who wins with speed or precision on the outside. Most projections have the affable Harry in the 25-50 overall draft range. The Lions pick at No. 43 overall in the second round.
