Lions were only team to formally interview UC Davis WR Keelan Doss at combine

All 32 NFL teams are granted 60 formal interviews with prospects at the NFL combine. The Detroit Lions used one of those on Keelan Doss, a well-regarded wide receiver from FCS-level Cal-Davis.

Doss revealed that Detroit was his only formal interview with any NFL team during his media session. He was asked about any formal meetings he might have had.

“I only had one with the Lions,” Doss responded. “It was a cool experience.”

The 6-2, 211-pound wideout played in both the slot and outside for the Aggies and did both very well. Doss caught over 230 passes for nearly 3,000 yards in his final two seasons. He also had some quality reps against higher-level competition at the Senior Bowl in January.

Doss injured himself in the bench press at the combine and did not do any other workouts on the advice of the doctors. He is generally projected as a fourth- or fifth-round pick.
