It took over a game and a half, but Lions running back and fan favorite Zach Zenner broke the team’s offensive dry spell when he scored their first offensive touchdown of the preseason in the third quarter against the Houston Texans.
Zenner capped off a beautiful drive by catching a swing pass from quarterback David Fales and getting taking it in from the five.
Detroit now trails Houston, 20-16, early in the fourth quarter.
