Lions preseason Week 2 Player of The Game: rookie Will Harris

The Detroit Lions showed some signs of life this week in Houston as they took on the Texans in Week 2 of the preseason. They scored their first touchdown of the season both on offense and on defense and looked like a complete team.

After a slow start in the first quarter, rookie safety Will Harris got the scoring started with a fumble recovery for a touchdown. He finished the night with team-leading six tackles as well.

Because of that, Harris takes home Player of The Game honors.

And I can’t forget quarterback David Fales. After a disasterous preseason Week 1, he came in and really had a great game. Almost had a perfect passer rating (minus a couple of drops). He would finish the night completing 12 of 19 (with at least 3 obvious drops) for 226 yards and a touchdown.

And because of that, he gets this week’s Honorable Mention.

Congrats guys!!
