The Detroit Lions ultimately decided to play starting quarterback Matthew Stafford in tonight’s preseason matchup with the Buffalo Bills.
So far, Stafford is off to a great start in his first game action playing in new offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell’s scheme.
After a couple of big completions to rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson, Stafford converted a fourth and three with an 11-yard touchdown pass to rookie running back Ty Johnson.
