Lions Player of the Game: WR Kenny Golladay

The Lions moved to 1-0-1 after their 13-10 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday afternoon. While it wasn’t the prettiest game — the two teams combined for four missed field goals and three interceptions — one Lions player was the difference in this Week 2 win.

Wide receiver Kenny Golladay finished the game with eight catches for 117 yards and a game-winning touchdown. Check out this 36-yard strike from quarterback Matt Stafford to Golladay that gave the Lions the lead in the fourth quarter.

While other Lions players, such as Darius Slay and Matthew Stafford made big plays down the stretch, Golladay’s consistent performance throughout the game ultimately helped the team get their first win of the season.

Through two games, Golladay has 12 catches for 159 yards and two scores. He looks well on his way to being the Lions’ No. 1 receiving option for years to come.
