Lions OL drinks in the action at the Tigers game

The Detroit Lions offensive line took a little field trip to Comerica Park for Saturday’s game between the host Tigers and the Minnesota Twins. As is quickly becoming the national custom, the linemen chugged beers when featured on the video scoreboard.

It’s a growing trend that’s all in good fun, but there is some competitiveness to the beer consumption.

Left tackle Taylor Decker (in case you didn’t recognize him by the tattoo sleeves) proved to be a champion chugger. Teammates Graham Glasgow and Joe Dahl joined him in entertaining the fans.

Even better, the Tigers trolled Packers QB Aaron Rodgers for his tea-sipping effort at chugging during a Milwaukee Bucks playoff game. Well done, Tigers.

It’s a fun way for the linemen to enjoy their break between last week’s minicamp and training camp, which kicks off in late July.
