Lions in attendance for Vanderbilt’s pro day

While most of the attention is on free agency, some members of the Detroit Lions front office are still busy with NFL Draft business. That includes attending pro days at colleges around the country.

As confirmed by three sources in attendance, the Lions had official representation at Vanderbilt’s pro day on Tuesday.

The Commodores primary attraction is CB Joejuan Williams, who is generally projected as a middle-round talent. The 6-4, 211-pound Williams had a rough combine (4.64 in the 40) but improved upon his numbers across the board, something that is typical of pro days…

He posted more plays on the ball than LSU’s Greedy Williams or Georgia’s DeAndre Baker in 2018.

Also of interest of those working out: QB Kyle Shurmur, son of current New York Giants head coach Pat Shurmur.
