The Lions gave up a quick score to the Chargers, but second-year running back Kerryon Johnson quickly got the Lions back in the game.

A beautifully designed screen pass to the right was bobbled and then caught by Johnson before he took it 36 yards to the house.

Detroit missed the extra point and it currently trails. 7-6, to the Chargers as the first quarter winds down.
