Lions fans showed up ready to roast the refs after Monday night’s officiating debacle

The Detroit Lions saw Monday night’s game against the Packers slip away after multiple missed calls helped fuel Green Bay’s rally.

Well, you better believe that the Lions fans were ready to let Sunday’s officiating crew know exactly how they felt about Monday’s debacle.

From the moment Brad Rogers and his NFL officiating crew emerged during warmups at Ford Field for the Lions-Vikings game, they were serenaded with boos from the Lions faithful. There were fans offering actual money to the refs from the stands.

And the shots of the fan outfits in the crowd were something else. There were robber-ski masks, clown face paint and much more clown-related attire. Again, these fans came prepared.

And, of course, a controversial pass-interference call went against the Lions, which didn’t exactly cool the tensions in Detroit.

But hey, the outfits were funny.
