Lions currently sit 2nd in 2022 NFL draft order after Week 4

Week 4 ended with a clear separation at the top of the 2022 NFL draft order. Of the five teams that entered play in Week 4 without a win, three of them came up victorious.

Wins by the New York Giants, New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts leave just the Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars without a win through the first month of the 2021 season. Those two teams are set apart from a big pack of 1-3 teams.

The Jaguars currently hold the No. 1 overall pick on the basis of strength of schedule. Jacksonville has racked up its 0-4 record while playing an easier schedule than the Lions have in losing their first four games.

There are 10 teams who end the week with just one win, so it’s still very early to tell exactly how the Lions draft slot eventually shakes out. Detroit faces one of those one-win teams in Week 5 with a trip to Minnesota to play the Vikings.
