Lions bring back Beau Benzschawel and Arryn Siposs to the practice squad

The boomerang flings back to Detroit for rookie punter Arryn Siposs. Days after being dumped from the Lions’ practice squad, the former Australian football pro is back with the team.

Siposs and offensive lineman Beau Benzschawel were re-signed to the practice squad on Saturday as part of a flurry of roster moves. Both Siposs and Benzschawel had been with the Lions all offseason and on the practice squad all year until their release earlier this week. Neither player signed with another team, so they are immediately available back in Detroit.

To make room for the old standards, the Lions released RB Dalyn Dawkins and TE Matt Sokol from the practice squad. Both were signed earlier in the week.
