The Detroit Lions have announced their 2019 training camp schedule and confirmed joint practices with the New England Patriots in August, as anticipated.
Training camp is a fun event for Lions fans looking to get a look at the team from a behind the scenes perspective. So grab your calendars and mark the following dates on your schedule:
Lions team practices
- Thursday, July 25, 9:30 am ET (season ticket holder only)
- Friday, July 26, 9:30 am ET
- Saturday, July 27, 9:30 am ET
- Sunday, July 28, 9:30 am ET
- Tuesday, July 30, 9:30 am ET
- Wednesday, July 31, 9:30 am ET
- Thursday, August 1, 9:30 am ET
- Sunday, August 4, 9:30 am ET (season ticket holder only)
Joint practices with the New England Patriots
- Monday, August 5, 9:30 am ET (season ticket holder only)
- Tuesday, August 6, 9:30 am ET
- Wednesday, August 7, 9:30 am ET
One date that has not been confirmed by the team — and is not on the picture release but is on the team website — is a practice at Ford Field on August 2, 2019, at 5:30 pm ET. According to Dave Birkett of the Free Press, this date is not solidified at this time but if it happens “it’ll be that day”.
While these times are tentative and subject to change the team consistently held to them last year.
