Lions announce Brothers Osborne as the Thanksgiving game halftime act

Playing halftime at Ford Field during the nationally televised Thanksgiving game is a prestigious honor for musicians. This year that honor goes to the Brothers Osborne.

The Detroit Lions, in conjunction with sponsor Kroger, announced the award-winning country music act will perform at halftime of the Lions’ Thanksgiving game against the Chicago Bears.

From the press release sent out by the Lions,

The singer/songwriter siblings currently reign as three-time CMA Vocal Duo of the Year in addition to being named ACM Vocal Duo of the Year the past two years. Overall, Brothers Osborne have collected four CMA and five ACM trophies including Video of the Year wins for their Top 10 GRAMMY-nominated Platinum single “It Ain’t My Fault.”

Last year’s entertainment was provided by Mike Posner, to mixed reviews.
