With every NFL Draft comes the obligatory release of the draft hat for each team. These are the models the players wear when they greet commissioner Roger Goodell on the stage or get the call at their homes.
New Era released the 2019 draft hat collection on Tuesday via the NFL Shop, and the Lions version for this year comes with a nod to the local Detroit culture.
It’s based on the Detroit city flag, a theme the cap designers embraced for all 32 teams in this year’s line of draft hats.
The prices start at $31.99. There is also a more patriotic edition available that swaps out the Lions colors for the red, white and blue American theme.
