Lionel Messi says some Barcelona players don't want Neymar to return to Nou Camp

Lionel Messi has admitted that some at Barcelona don't want Neymar to return to the club.

PSG ace Neymar was linked with a return to Barcelona all summer, and speculation over a move has resurfaced ahead of the January transfer window after the two clubs reportedly met on Tuesday.

However, many at Barcelona are not happy about the way Neymar left the club, according to Messi .

The Brazil ace controversially forced his way out of Barcelona to make his £200m world-record move to PSG in 2017.

And not everyone at the club necessarily wants him back.

''It is difficult to bring him back," Messi told Buenos Aires radio station Metro 95.1.

"Firstly because it was difficult to see him leave, secondly because of how he left.

''There are people from the club and the members who do not want him to return.

''If it is for sports, Ney is one of the best in the world, but I understand all the other factors.''

Barca are reportedly offering Neymar £153million to be paid after a year's loan, according to the Sun .

The loan coast would be at least £31.6m, but they might offer players to reduce the cash payment as negotiations continue.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have reportedly identified four players, including Marcus Rashford, as potential replacements for Luis Suarez.

Uruguayan superstar Suarez is expected to leave the Nou Camp next summer, with the striker going into the final year of his current Barca contract next season.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Manchester United hit man Rashford is high on Barca's shopping list, although they are also ready to target Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane and Lautaro Martinez.

France World Cup winner Mbappe is said to be their No.1 target but would also be the most costly addition of the named players.
