Barcelona coach Quique Setien has hailed Lionel Messi's "astronomical" career statistics at the Catalan club.
Messi provided two assists and also scored late on in Saturday's 4-0 win at Mallorca to reach 20 LaLiga goals for the season for the 12th year in a row.
"You can't just look at his goals," Setien said in a press conference on Monday. "You have to look at all the other things he brings to the team.
"The other day he set up two and that's so important. His numbers are astronomical.
"I don't know how many goals he has in total, but that's why he is the best player in the world. We can count on him and he helps us in every match."
The Argentine attacker, who turns 33 next week, now has 628 official goals for Barcelona in all competitions and will look to add to that tally as the LaLiga leaders host struggling Leganes at Camp Nou on Tuesday.
