Lionel Messi is today set to be unveiled as a PSG player, and you can watch live.
The Argentine landed in Paris on Tuesday and was met by thousands of fans as the world’s greatest player finalises a two-year contract, with the option of a third year, worth €35million a year.
Messi will be presented officially as a PSG player at 10am BST today, Wednesday, August 11, 2021.
The Ligue 1 giants have already been busy teasing fans ahead of an official announcement - though the surprise factor is somewhat gone - with two videos across their social media channels.
The first is a 13-second clip that features a quick glimpse of an Argentina number 10 shirt and what appears to be Messi’s spot in the PSG dressing room, accompanied by the words: "New diamond in Paris".
The club then tweeted another video clip showing six Ballons d'Or trophies, the number won by Messi, with the Eiffel Tower in the background, along with an egg timer emoji.
