Lionel Messi admits it is difficult to describe what he has lived through this week as he sealed a sensational move to Paris Saint-Germain.
It's been a whirlwind few days for the 34-year-old as it was announced he would not be extending his stay at Barcelona with the Spanish club unable to afford the forward due to La Liga's financial fair play rules.
Messi said farewell to the club he had been at for 21 years as he broke down into tears in an emotional press conference.
And just 48 hours later, he would sign for PSG as the Ligue 1 outfit assemble one of the most devastating teams the footballing world has ever seen.

Messi opened up the ordeal and says it's been a rollercoaster of emotions.
He told CNN : "Well, the truth is that it is hard to put into words what I've had to live through this week.
"It was really difficult with what happened with Barcelona, saying farewell after spending my whole life in one place.
"And after three days, without forgetting what happened, everything changed. I was living with a lot of doubt, a lot of nerves, and a lot of anticipation that this would happen. And well a lot of excitement and desire to get started.
"It was a really special arrival, the people that welcomed me on the street. I'm very excited to start this new era and my new life here in Paris."
Messi insists one of the main reasons he chose PSG was that their ambitions to win the Champions League align with his.
He added: "I'm aware of the objective this club has, fighting for a while to win the Champions League. It came close these past few years.
"On a personal level, would love to win another Champions League, as I have said in previous years. I think I have come to the ideal place that is ready for that.

"We have the same goals, the club has some of the best players and one of the best squads in the world, and God willing, we can achieve that goal. Paris wants it so much, I want so much, and hopefully, we can enjoy it with the people of Paris too.
"Honestly, I live day-to-day, I think about enjoying the dressing room. There are a lot of guys there I know, I have friends there and as I said among the best in the world.
"I know them and being able to enjoy playing with them to be able to achieve the club's goals and doing it all in a relaxed way and going slowly.
"I would love to be able to keep winning titles and to do it here in France, those are the objectives that will hopefully happen."
Messi was asked about the possibility of coming up against his former club in the Champions League.
And he reckons it would be a bitter-sweet moment if he were to come home to Barca one day in another shirt.
He said: "Well, it could happen. It would be strange for me if it did happen.
"On the one hand, it would be special going back to my home with a different shirt on. But we will see what happens in the future and if it does we will enjoy it as well."
