Lionel Messi launches another furious rant over Barcelona situation after latest criticism

Lionel Messi has launched yet another rant over his situation at Barcelona and said: “I’m tired of always being the problem for everything at the club.”

Messi returned to Spain this week after starring for Argentina during the international break, where he helped them secure a much-needed 2-0 win over Peru.

But on his arrival in Barcelona, Messi was reportedly quizzed on the ongoing situation at the club and comments made by Eric Olhats, the former agent of Antoine Griezmann.

And a frustrated Messi made his feelings known to the assembled media at the airport, with El Mundo Deportivo claiming he said: "I’m tired of always being the problem for everything at the club."

The comments come after Griezmann's former agent suggested that Barcelona training sessions are "designed to make certain people happy" in what appeared to be a sly dig at Messi.

Rumours continue to circulate that Griezmann and Messi do not see eye-to-eye, with the Frenchman still struggling to find his best form at the Nou Camp.

Olhats added fuel to the fire earlier this week when he told France Football: "Antoine arrived at a club in which Messi had his eye on everything.

"[Messi] is both emperor and monarch, and didn’t genuinely welcome Antoine upon his arrival. His attitude has always been deplorable and made him feel bad."

And in a new documentary to be broadcast in France, Griezmann's uncle spoke out about his nephew's relationship with Messi and the general situation at Barcelona.

"[Griezmann] was convinced that he wasn’t going to be successful within the first six months, but what I didn’t expect was that it would last an entire year," he said.

"Besides, with Messi, I know what’s going on inside [the club] – it’s not easy.

"Basically, [Messi] doesn’t work hard enough at Barca and the training sessions are structured in order to please certain people, which is fine if you don’t want to work [as hard].

"Antoine needs to work, even though others don’t need as much effort to play well. He’s the other way around – he needs to put in a lot of effort for himself."
