Linlithgow Rose announce Brown Ferguson as new manager

Linlithgow Rose have appointed Brown Ferguson as manager ahead of this weekend's Scottish Cup second round clash with Stirling University.

The 38-year-old earned plenty of plaudits during a three year stint in charge of Stenhousemuir that ended in 2018. The former Alloa Athletic and Partick Thistle midfielder had been a youth coach at Rangers prior to taking on the role at Prestonfield.

The Rose dismissed Mark Bradley following a 6-2 defeat to Musselburgh Athletic in the East of Scotland Premier Division two weeks ago.Linlithgow Rose announce Brown Ferguson as new manager

Ferguson tweeted: "The Rose were a hugely successful Junior team who have the ambition, ground and fan base to now progress in the senior game. A very tough league awaits with some exciting games. It’s both a demanding and exciting challenge and a role i’m very much looking forward to."
