Rhian Sugden has revealed that she's trying IVF after receiving 'devastating' news about her fertility.
The 32-year-old lingerie model and writer, who is married to former Coronation Street star Oliver Mellor, told her followers on Twitter that she's "wishing for a miracle."
Rhian, from Bury, says she has opened up about the issue to highlight the struggles that a lot of women are going through.
She wrote: "I received some pretty devastating news this week about my fertility - which means I will be trying IVF later this year.
"I wasn't going to share this news but I feel the need to highlight the struggles that a lot of women are going through.
"It's hard being a woman and having all these expectations. Being told you might not have children is heartbreaking.
"I don't like the pressure that people put on women to have children. I don't like the pressure that I have put on myself.
"I struggle to answer questions about when I am going to start a family - even though I know the questions come from a good place, I hate being asked it.
"All I can say really is that I've been trying and I can't."
Rhian married Oliver in a romantic ceremony by the Mediterranean Sea in Turkey last September.
She appeared on the 2012 series of Celebrity Big Brother along with ex Corrie legend Julie Goodyear.
Rhian and Oliver got engaged while she was watching her man perform in Agatha Christie’s Black Coffee at the Opera House Manchester in 2014.
The actor, who played Dr Matt Carter in Coronation Street, staged a romantic proposal after a flash mob of singers stood off stage to perform a medley of romantic songs, before bursting into Bruno Mars’ Marry You.
