Linfield beat Glentoran 1-0 at Windsor Park to earn the Big Two bragging rights on Saturday.
Kirk Millar's 87th-minute goal sealed the victory for the NIFL Premiership champions at Windsor Park.
Glentoran hit the woodwork with Robbie McDaid's header rebounding off the crossbar.
But Millar settled the game late on when his deflected shot nestled in the bottom corner of Marijan Antolovic's net.
