Linfield are being linked with a move for former Rangers winger Fraser Aird.
Aird is currently with Scottish League Two club Cove Rangers but is believed to be on the radar of a number of clubs - including David Healy's Blues.
The 24-year-old - who has scored three goals in five appearances for Cove this season - left Dundee United in September, and has had previous spells with clubs including Queen of the South and Falkirk.
The Sun is reporting that Healy could be poised to make a move for Canada international Aird in January to bolster his squad.
Another player who could be set for Windsor in January is Kyle McClean who previously enjoyed a loan spell with Linfield .
McClean was released by Scottish Premiership club St Johnstone in the summer but is unable to sign for another club until the New Year.
