Danske Bank Premiership pacesetters Linfield have been installed as firm odds on favourites to win their 54th Irish League title in April.
Friday night’s thumping 4-0 win over Crusaders at Windsor Park helped gift David Healy’s men a seven point lead at the top of the league table.
And the bookies are convinced the Blues will go on to retain the Gibson Cup for the first time of Healy’s four-and-a-half year reign as manager.
Following the latest round of fixtures, BetMcLean are now offering odds of 2/7 on Linfield who have just eight league games left to play between now and the end of April.
Second-placed Coleraine, who trail the Blues by seven points with a game in hand after Saturday's 4-0 win at Institute, are being offered at 11/2.
Linfield's Big Two rivals Glentoran, whose 2-2 share of the spoils with Glenavon at Mourneview Park leaves them eight points off the summit in third, have drifted to 14/1.
And Crusaders, who are 11 points off the pace and have a mountain to climb, are 16/1.
Cliftonville, who are level on points with the Crues after Saturday's 1-1 draw with Ballymena United, are now priced at 25/1.
While sixth-placed Larne, who are now only six points off second but a distant 13 points off the summit, are being offered at 200/1.
Linfield, who have won their last four league outings, last retained the Gibson Cup under former boss David Jeffrey in 2012.
And with Irish Cup quarter-finals being played this weekend, their next fixture isn’t until March 7 when they travel to face Carrick Rangers at the Loughshore Arena.
They then play Larne (H) and derby rivals Glentoran (A) before facing the final five post-split fixtures at the end of March and April.
