Linfield FC reveal new walk-out tune set to debut on Saturday

Windsor Park is set to be rocking to the theme of a new Linfield walk-out song on Saturday.

Lisburn band Pretty Cartel have recorded a special cover version of their song 'Saturday Kicks'.

Linfield TV released an exclusive video of the tune on Friday, ahead of its debut on Saturday when David Healy's side take on Coleraine at the South Belfast stadium.

The official Linfield Twitter account added: "Great to team up with a band of Linfield supporters. You'll hear it for the first time as the teams walk out at Windsor Park tomorrow!"

Blues chairman Roy McGivern also said on Twitter: "That's brilliant, great work by all involved and looking forward to hearing it belting out at Windsor Park tomorrow."

Fans also voiced their approval.

Chris said: "I was not prepared for this at all - brilliant brilliant stuff."

Blue Devil added: "Brilliant lads!"

Pretty Cartel consists of Dee McIlroy (lead vocals), Ian Currie rhythm guitarist/backing vox), Neill Mackin (bass), Fergus McPherson (drummer) and Neal Connor (lead guitar).

And as well as being music mad, the lads also love football.

They shot one of their singles 'Come Back Around' in the family home of Manchester United and Northern Ireland legend George Best in Burren Way, Belfast.

That saw the five-piece guitar outfit named as the Irish FA's Fans of the Month.
