Linfield FC fans urged not to throw away their 2018/19 season tickets

Linfield fans have been urged NOT to throw away their 2018/19 season tickets at the end of the current campaign.

The Blues have two home games remaining in the Danske Bank Premiership this term.

On Saturday David Healy's side host Glenavon - when they will be presented with the Gibson Cup - and then Cliftonville on Easter Tuesday.

But the club has advised supporters not to ditch their season tickets at the end of the month, for two important reasons:

1 - In accordance with the club rules, the tickets are valid for any home league games in August.

2 - The intention is that these cards will remain valid for the duration of next season once the renewal payment has been made.

The club added on its website: "There will again be two separate orders of new batches of tickets between July and September for new season ticket applications.

Seven reasons why Linfield were too hot to handle in this season's Danske Bank Premiership title race

"Included in these new orders will be supporters who need a new ticket because they are changing category eg moving from junior to youth, youth to young adult, young adult to adult and adult to senior.

"Any supporter who knows they are renewing for next season and who knows they will need a new category of card because they have grown that little bit older is asked to advise  siteeditor@linfieldfc.com  so that a new card can be ordered in the first batch of orders due to be sent to the printers in July."

Meanwhile, Linfield have also announced a title party this Saturday.
