David Healy has sent a special message to young Linfield player Harvey Leighton after he fractured his foot.
Harvey - who plays for Linfield Academy's Under 13 side - is expected to be out of action for some time as he continues his recovery from the injury.
Healy sent the youngster a special video message to wish him well in his rehabilitation.
In it, the Blues boss said: "Hi Harvey, David Healy here. I heard about your unfortunate injury and I want to wish you a speedy recovery.
"I am sure you won't be out for too long and you will be back fitter and stronger.
"Take care, have a good Christmas and hopefully I will get down to see you playing at Midgley soon.
"Have a good Christmas, young man."
