Lineup changes for Blackhawks may include David Rundblad

April 19--Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville will be making some lineup changes for Game 4 against the Blues, and one of the changes could include playing David Rundblad, a defenseman who hasn't played for the Hawks since December.

Quenneville told Rundblad on Tuesday to be ready to play in the series just after he said he might make a change along the blue line.

"I think he's got real good play recognition, patience with the puck, positionally fine," Quenneville said. "I think it's in the puck area, defending around the net, that he has to get better."

The Hawks loaned Rundblad to the ZSC Lions of Switzerland's National League A in January before he rejoined the organization at Rockford in March. Rundblad was called back up to the Hawks prior to the series against the Blues starting.

It also seems as if Quenneville will be making changes to his bottom six set of forwards. Andrew Desjardins appears to be back in the lineup after he was a healthy scratch in Game 3 while Dale Weise was not among the four-line rotations.

"I think expectations are high for myself as well as obviously the coaches expect a little bit more," Desjardins said. "That's all I'm taking for it. A little bit more, a little bit more swagger, a little more attitude, a little bit more grit."

Here were the line combinations at Tuesday's morning skate:

Andrew Ladd-Jonathan-Toews-Marian Hossa

Artemi Panarin-Artem Anisimov-Patrick Kane

Tomas Fleischmann-Teuvo Teravainen-Richard Panik

Andrew Desjardins-Marcus Kruger-Andrew Shaw
