Gogglebox fans are counting the days to this week's episode as they seek answers on the bombshell ending to Sunday night's Line of Duty.
After being shocked by the death of a character as AC-12 came under siege, millions of viewers were then left up a height by a cliffhanger as Steve Arnott handed Ted Hastings a document with a picture of someone who was a 'blood relative' of under suspicion DCI Jo Davidson.
In a turn of phrase that quickly went viral, Hastings reacted: "mother of God!" as fans flocked to Twitter to share their theories on who the person could be.
Something else that many talked about on Twitter was how Gogglebox cast member Jenny would have reacted to it, given she is now famous for having her notebook and pen out for every episode.
And, as they sat their scratching their heads, some looked to Jenny to shed some light on the cliffhanger.
One tweeted: "Only one person can solve this tonight...DI Jenny," and another reacted: "we're all looking to you Jenny to solve this!"
A third posted: "get Jenny on the case, after last night's @Line_of_duty we need her to get to the bottom of this."
Others were left wishing they'd followed Jenny's lead and invested in a notepad, with one flummoxed viewer commenting: "Just catching up with #lineofduty so confused need to be like jenny from #gogglebox and take notes," and another tweeting: "i need to start a Jenny notebook! @leegogglebox. I'm going to bed every Sunday night still working everything out!"
Bookies have now had their say with crime boss Tommy Hunter and John Corbett, Stephen Graham's character who was killed in series 5, the two favourites.
