Line of Duty has returned to our screens after a long wait of two years and viewers got to reacquaint themselves with their favourite characters.
Martin Compston ’s character - DS Steve Arnott - is joined by DC Kate Fleming (played by Vicky McClure) and Superintendent Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar).
DS Arnott is known for his flings throughout the police drama, but the actor's real life is very different to his character in the show.
From a short fling with major crime unit's DS Nicola Rogerson to a romance with AC-12 newcomer DC Georgia Trotman, Steve became the master of mixing business with pleasure.
However, when he’s away from filming, Martin is happily married to Tianna Chanel Flynn.
Who is Tianna Chanel Flynn?
Martin, 36, got married to American actress Tianna in 2016.
Tianna - who is also an estate agent - has most of her social media pages set to private but people may know her from Secret Diary Of An American Cheerleader.
She also made the smallest appearance in her husband's BBC show back in series five.
At one point in that season, DS Arnott got a message on a dating app from a woman called Tina Watts and picture used was of Tianna herself.
She also appeared very briefly at the end of the advert for Nissan’s Altima.
The couple has kept mostly private about their relationship, but Tianna sometimes retweets her husband’s posts onto her Twitter page.
In May last year, during an important time for the Black Lives Matter campaign, Martin shared a photo of his wife standing in front of a mountain lit up with the phrase ‘Black Lives Matter.’
He tweeted: “Lone Mountain, Las Vegas. Proud black woman, proud husband.”
When did Tianna and Martin meet?
Martin and Tianna first met at the Hudson Hotel in Los Angeles when she was a nightclub manager.
Upon learning about her Irish ancestry, the star sent her a medley of Irish songs.
They married at the Compston family chapel in Mar Hall, Renfrewshire, in 2016.
The duo have a home in Greenock, Las Vegas, close to Tianna’s mum sissy.
It boasts a spa, a swimming pool, a sweeping staircase and Tennent's lager on tap for Martin.
He told The Sunday Post previously: "The Strip is the tourist trap, but Vegas is suburbia. A couple of million people live there and it’s so quiet.
"I love it. The weather is great, obviously, and compared to Los Angeles and London you get so much more for your money.
"I’ve never been flash with anything. I’ve never really spent my money or liked fancy cars, so we saved to hopefully get a bit of a dream home."
Tianna and Martin’s children
After around three years of marriage, the Line of Duty actor revealed that his wife was pregnant with their first child together.
Tianna was pictured with her baby bump at the Henley Festival in 2019.
The duo have been incredibly private about their child, with Martin only confirming that he had become a father in March last year.
