Line of Duty's Martin Compston gets home gym complete with Celtic flag

Line of Duty star Martin Compston was given a surprise present of a home gym from his wife Tianna Flynn.

The Hoops mad actor from Paisley was gifted the surprise just in time for Christmas after his estate agent and actress wife Tianna decided to revamp their garage.

The couple now live in Las Vegas with their baby and Tianna's parents who help out with babysitting duties when he is busy filming.

Tianna revealed that she wanted to surprise Martin while he was busy filming season six of BBC detective drama Line Of Duty and said: "At the end of last year I remodelled our garage and did part of it as a home gym to surprise my husband, so I put together a video of the progress and before and afters. I hope you enjoy it."

The renovation work began in November and Tianna said she had to clear everything out the garage ahead of the renovation. luckily she had help from her mum and dad, at least initially.

She said: "First we cleaned every thing out of the garage to have a clean base. Then we got to work repainting all the walls a clean white. Then we had a lot of conversations on what to do next once this part was finished . We were winging it. Day two I was working solo. My arms were on fire. We ended up doing two coats of white they were so dirty. We had a million holes to fill."

It took fur days to paint ceilings and beams black before Tianna set to work on the floors, painting on two coats of grey epoxy, with black and white speckles and sealant.

On her Instagram page she listed all the materials she used and included mirrors, yoga mats, weights, bikes, ball hooks but most importantly for Martin, a tricolour Celtic flag.
